Google Earth

I just got around to testing Google Earth. Wow. It's like discovering the atlas all over again.

I have the same reaction. I tried it out a week ago. Of course
it's imperfect, there are many places around the world where the
detail is not very good, but over large parts of america you can
count houses. It's actually useful in looking up a place you're
going to but have never been to before to get a feel for the
roads.

Somehow it makes the world seem a much smaller place.

It's fantastic. I was able to locate my old flat in Upstate New York and several other places where I once lived. It's like taking a walk down memory lane!
