I don't find that credible at all. More likely the Japanese have teamed up with the Jihadists for their own reasons, creating a new anti-Western axis. As the investigative program South Park revealed in "Chinpokemon", the Japanese have been using popular culture for years to brainwash our children into bombing Pearl Harbor. But manga and anime has a limited audience - with sudoku they've finally struck mainstream.

Both the nature of the game and the feeling of immediate gratification commonly noted by accomplished sudoku players is reminiscent of the TNG episode The Game, and I don't believe that's a coincidence. I believe we're looking at three or four months before the entire adult population of Europe is ready for massive reprogramming of their wetware. The question is by who. Have our enemies divided Europe among themselves, and if so which side are we on? I hope we get to be reprogrammed by the Japanese, they're way cooler than Muslims.

I can't imagine that anyone would fail to distinguish between Christianity and Islam:

David, You are mixing the traditional religious definition of "cult" with the modern secular one.

The modern secular refers to groups that have been a significant problem in the US, where threats and violence are used to retain members. The authorities use this as a distinguishing characteristic for prosecution, since it's illegal. I'm just amazed that a "so called" major religion uses the same techniques and no one reacts.

So when Kim and I say "it's a cult", we literally mean "it's a cult", in the modern secular sense.

You make a good point. Clearly cult-like behaviour to the extreme which you have indicated needs to be prosecuting where and whenever it occurs. Regardless of whether it is a major religious denomination or not. [Yes to be fair ordinary Christian denominations are not normally involved in such things, even if christian derived cults are]

good for you to have all those 'moderate' muslim friends...truth is, they are probably nominal muslims, or lip service muslims, or are muslims by birth, or claim muslim-ship out of tradition or cultural pride etc...they may as well wear another label.

The problem is if they are 'moderate'muslims today and they continue imbibing the steady flow of 'doctrines' from their 'holy' book, there is no guarantee that today's friendly / moderate muslim may turn 'jihadist' in a twinkle of an eye ( and we have many recent cases to show otherwise....and further because islam permits its adherents to practise dissimulation as long as it furthers islams agendae..
