Unni Wikan... isn’t that the same person that said Norwegian girls should take their part of the responsibility for rapes conducted by Muslims? Or was that someone else?

Well, the right to do something idiotic. It's not a profound statement, just a test of the hypothesis that our right of expression is genuine .. and that we all have it.

Frankly, I suspect that many people put more into the mooning than it deserves. Actually Valgerd Svarstad Haugland made the best point about it; when she likened it to something out of a "russerevy".

It might be needed, I'm not saying that it's not, but I think that right now we need more of what Shabana is saying, and not of what Shabana is doing.

For her next stunt mooning mullah Krekar might be an idea, though.

The fact that 'someone' shot at the window of Shabana's sister is most disturbing --- most likely 'islamists' with a violent streak are allowed to operate in norway with impunity. Islamists who want to create an Islamic state based entirely on Islamic law fired shots at that restaurant, because .. that's the kind of evil thing Islamists do, inbetween puppy-killing and bomb-making. They believe that by intimidating Pakistani Norwegians who show their butt in public, they will bring forth the destruction of Norwegian democracy, and clear the road for that Caliphat-thingy.

And then there's the possibility that the people who did this were motivated by Pakistani national honor. They believe, based on their cultural concept of the scope of honor, and their religious concept of what honor is, that Shabana Rehman is a disgrace to all Pakistanis who live in Norway, and must be punished for that.

Now, one of these theories is backed by some evidence, ie. we know that there are people like this who express such opinions because we can read them on the web. Make your guess, then I'll give you the answer.
