Let my mullah go
The Norwegian Government has decided to have Mullah Krekar expelled. Minister of Justice Erna Solberg (already dubbed iron-Erna by Nettavisen) announced today that Krekar's involvment with wacko-fundamentalists makes him a threat to state security. "Ansar al-Islam is an armed Islamic, fundemantalist group there is reason to believe has connections with al-Qaeda." He has also violated the conditions of his refugee status by going back and forth between Norway and the country he's supposedly seeking refuge from, Iraq. Great! There are some legal bumps on the road between here and Krekar's return to soon-ex-Ansar-controlled Northern Iraq, though. Krekar's sleazy but extremely media competent lawyer won't give up his prize client without a fight. Even if the decision stands, an immediate return is of course out of the question. My dream scenario, then, in which Krekar is kicked out of a plane with (without?) a parachute over Ansar territory just in time for a major American assault on their bases, is unlikely to come true. But I suppose I can always hope for a trial in post-Saddam Iraq.

I could be wrong, but... I'm starting to detect a little bit of change in the psychological balance of power away from the backward thugs of Islam and towards the West in general. These Islamic thugs have been exposed fairly blatantly by their own actions and by their own words. Their actions and words are not backed up by anything that the world will ever give in to or be converted by. Imagine, though, if the U.S. and Britain, and it's seemingly few but stalwart allies hadn't stood up and resisted the evil as they've done up until now? All the force and power would still be behind the Islamic thugs (I'm intentionally refraining from using worse, yet more accurate, language to describe them.) The Islamic thugs, remember, actually believed that the West was soft and decadent to the point of not being able to (and not wanting to) defend itself. Yes, some in the west, but not the center-of-gravity of the west - America and Britain and their true current allies. Islam has learned that if you declare war on America or the west in general you are committing real suicide, and not suicide by your own choice. I'm really proud of the fact that American soldiers top to bottom don't take sh** from anybody. I saw a little documentary footage of special ops soldiers in Afghanistan, and they take control. There 'presence' says: "We're here to do a job. Don't f*** with us or we'll kill you." The villagers didn't f*** with them. Islam sees that, sees their own being killed, hears stories, and says, "Our mullahs are not very smart..." Trackback
