The human shields are leaving Baghdad. What was it that tipped them off that they were being used? Was it the men in biohazard suits and the mysterious lack of civilians at the "schools" and "hospitals" they were shielding? Was it being chained and handcuffed on the roof of a presidential palace, dressed up as Osama bin Laden? Were the beds too uncomfortable?

Now-reluctant human shield Geir Angell Øygarden offers another perspective:

A lot of the people who are here are real nuts, and not people I'd like to spend my last hours together with.

Whatever the reason, only one of the five Norwegian shields have left Iraq so far. Model mother Katharina Søderholm abandoned her two kids to defend Saddam's regime, but talking to her 11 year old daughter on the phone gave her second thoughts. I'm glad she made it out. The others - I feel for their parents, but human shields don't stand first in line for my already over-extended amount of sympathy right now. Nor second or third.

If you think that all hope is lost for Saddam Hussein, though, what with the human shields leaving and all, think again! The pacifists are leaving, but the nazi's are marching in.

The Swedish nazi organization Legion Wasa has sent a letter to the Iraqi embassy, where its founder, Curt Linusson, suggests that Legion Wasa might assist Iraq with a group of ten people in case of war. The intention is to work as field medics in Iraq, but Linusson doesn't rule out that they might take part in fighting on Saddam Hussein's side. - Our tasks will be left for Iraq to decide, but we see ourselves primarily as a humanitarian group.

So far he still hasn't succeeded in gathering a group of ten volunteers. And he hasn't received a reply from the embassy, which claims it is unaware of any letter from the Nazi organization. [..] For a nazi organization to fight for Muslims is explained by Linusson with that Islam is the religion of the Arab world, but not for Sweden. - We're not fighting for Muslims or Saddam Hussein, we're supporting a sovereign national state, with an elected leader who is threatened by the United States.

Hey Swedish Nazis, great idea! All the US Jews here said you would be afraid to serve as human shields at Iraqi military sites, but G. Bush is driven to helpless indecision by the thought that an errant JDAM might liquefy a true Aryan.

AEL against Israel, for multiculturalism

AMSTERDAM – The Dutch branch of the controversial Arab European League (AEL), which was officially launched at the weekend, immediately landed itself in hot water by announcing it wants "the State of Israel to be dismantled".

The programme of the AEL-NL also calls for the closure of drugs-selling coffee shops and abolition of prostitution in the Netherlands....

The AEL-NL describes itself a democratic and Islamic party. It is against (Islamic) Sharia law, which operates in Muslim states such as Iran, Saudi Arabia, parts of Sudan and in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan.

I find myself nearly laughing hysterically at the fact that the Nazis can't seem to actually find ten volunteers.

Why do I think these guys are a few dozen stupid losers with no lives who get together to talk because it makes them feel powerful, and little else? Proably because that's exactly what they are.

In America the main neo-nazi organisations (their few leaders, religious and non-religious, and their various publications and, later, websites) were put up by various civil rights and Jewish groups (backed by political interests as well) for all the obvious and very effective reasons. It's really difficult to imagine people who are so consistently stupid as acting purely on their own volition. They've been trained to take the stupid side of anything and everything. Their current support for Islamo fascist terrorists is probably not a position that was given them from their handlers, though. It's probably the neo-nazis just going on autopilot at this point.

I'm not surprised that Saddam's style of elections and of govrning in general should appeal to Nazis. Murderous thugs of a feather flock together.

Iraq is one of the last free national states in the world, and now they are supposed to be occupied by the new world order. Not for weapons of m. d., not for the oil, but for jewish supremacy. Seems like the jews have decided to have an extraordinary purim celebration this year, or is it just a coincidence that the war starts at the purim holiday.

Saddam sends a lot of money to the families of the suicide bombers. This, of course, encourages new palestinians to bomb the jews. At least they know their families will get paid for their sacrifices. This is another reason why the jews want to get rid of Saddam. They will probably continue with Iran and Syria and who knows who is next.

We in Legion Wasa in Sweden feel solidarity to the Iraqis and their fight against the jews.
We aren't sure whether we will go yet because if we commit any military actions in Iraq we might get prosecuted when returning to Sweden. The embassy said that we are welcome to do humanitarian things, if we get there.

Saddam is an evil dictator. Now he is finally gone. And saying that the war to free the Iraqi people was only about oil is stupid. That's like saying that the entire WW2 was about the oil in the Kaukasus! was a dictator that had to be stopped. Today most of Europe is free and wealthy and maybe 60 years from now Iraq will be the same. That's why I supported the war in Iraq.

Good going, USA! The only superpower left in the world is a democratic and prosperous country. They have such huge natural resourses and a strong economy that they don't need to conquer any other countries. And remember that Japan used to be a military dictatorship that had to little natural resourses so they started invading Asian countries, they were defeated and occupied by the USA and look at them today! One of the wealthies countries in the world once they were industilized and started bying what they needed from other countries. Looks like a temporary American occupation is a good thing!

And I hope that the fight for democracy and human rights will continue the world over. Iran, North-Korea, Syria and all other dictatorships will be next.

And as a Swede I am ashamed of our s. A small minority of the people in all countries of the world are ful ignorant people who look for scapegoats instead of solving the real problems in society. Sweden as a democracy has a tradition of tolerance and respect for other countries and ures. Remember Raoul Wallenberg! He saved 60.000 jews.

The jews are just like everyone else in the world. We are all human beings and we should stop all this stupid tribalistic fighting. A free, democratic and united world is the only thing worth fighting for.
